Café Olé presents a One-Day Dance Intensive with the great Jorge Camagüey, followed by a vibrant Sunday Matinée Social with DJ Vitiko.
Due to the great interest, curiosity and positive feedback we received when announcing the event, we decided to go one step further and offer a bigger and more complete experience for dancers in Oslo and across Norway.
💃 THE INTENSIVE
This intensive is designed for dancers with basic experience who want to improve technique, body movement, musicality and social dancing, while reconnecting with the roots of Cuban dance.
Dance styles included in the classes:
🟡 Cuban Son – elegance, musicality and partner connection
🔴 Guaguancó – Afro-Cuban body movement, rhythm and expression
🟢 Casino (Floreos) – creativity, flow and tools for social dancing

👤 ABOUT JORGE CAMAGÜEY
Jorge Camagüey is one of the most respected figures in Cuban dance culture internationally, with decades of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. Born and raised in Cuba, he has worked with dance companies, festivals and international congresses around the world.
He is especially known for his deep knowledge of Afro-Cuban traditions and Cuban popular dances, his musicality and his ability to transmit culture, technique and feeling in a clear and inspiring way.
